Who We Are
We are a boutique immigration law firm helping individuals and families navigate the U.S. immigration process through personalized representation in family-based matters.
It is about people, dreams, and futures — and it is personal for me.
At the Law Office of Nina P. Chobu, as the owner and managing attorney, I believe that immigration isn’t just about paperwork—it’s about people, dreams, and futures. I focus on family-based immigration and adjustment of status, helping families and individuals navigate the U.S. immigration process with clarity and genuine care.
My dedication to immigration law is rooted in my own journey. I arrived in the United States as a teenager with my family, where I had to learn a new language, adapt to American culture, and navigate the naturalization process on my own. This experience gave me firsthand insight into the complexities my clients face today. It inspired me to become an attorney, fueling my commitment to providing the kind of guidance I once needed. Today, I use that perspective to help my clients with both compassion and care.
The immigration journey can be emotionally taxing, which is why I’m committed to providing compassionate, detail-oriented representation at every step. Whether your goal is to reunite with loved ones or pursue U.S. citizenship, you’ll have my full attention. I offer services in English, Russian, and Ukrainian.
Thoughtful, reliable legal support for individuals and families navigating family-based immigration.

Every case receives careful attention and a strategy shaped around the client’s goals. We review the details, explain the process clearly, and offer either full representation or help with a specific stage of the case.
We work with individuals and families building or maintaining their lives in the United States. We help with application preparation, post-filing USCIS matters, interview preparation, and specific family-based immigration filings.
We talk through your situation, your timeline, and which petitions apply to your family.
We assemble your documentation and prepare each form carefully before anything is filed.
Your petition is submitted to USCIS, and you know exactly what was sent and what comes next.
We prepare you for the interview so there are no surprises on the day it matters.
Whether your goal is to reunite with loved ones or pursue U.S. citizenship, you will have my full attention.
